I Am Sick Of Being Sick

I got hammered a week ago Tuesday with a wicked chest cold.

I am still hacking and coughing to the point of gagging, sweating like a whore in church and still generally feeling like I have been given the chance of a lifetime to see what is underneath a sewer truck traveling at sixty miles an hour.

Sorry for the lack of posting.

It might be a bit sporadic for a while yet.

  1. I didn't realize years ago when I was a server at church and could peer over all the worshipers that in this devoutly religious small town there were so many ladies of the night. I go with Suzanne Busted.

  3. Sounds like you have got either H1N1 or this years version of the flu. In either case you have spent too many days sick-and one assumes that you are going to work and spreading your illness to one and all. I missed getting a flu shot one year and was laid out for almost a month. Spending 3 days in ICU and almost 2 weeks in hospital. Then several years later I once more missed getting flu shot and once more wound up in hospital this time for only 15 days. Needless to say I am one big fan of flu shots. I am also big fan of going to Dr when sick. I understand that a virus is much harder to treat than a bacterial infection, but still. Are you aware that aprox 44,000 people die from the flu every year? In the US alone. Many other countries understand what the flu does in terms of GDP and make it free and manditory. Suggest you rapidly get yourself to either Dr or clinic or ER. A cold lasts, at the most, 10 days. You do not have a cold. A URI-bacteria-will stick around almost forever, yet an antibiotic course of treatment will clear it up in just a few days. Get thee to a Dr.

Get thee to a doctor! I was already planning to say that before I saw timr's post. Busted, you mean a whole lot to a large group of us. And I, for one, do not want to find myself wondering why it's been so long between posts. You are too dear a soul to loose to some damned bacteria, k? with hugs, skeptic
