In The First Place

You stupid fucks in Wisconsin voted this fucking idiot in.
That is a fact.

Now ya don't like the fact that he is doing exactly what he said he was going to do and none of ya paid the fuck attention.

Let this be a lesson to those of you who hate Democrats at all costs, this is what it will cost you.

Yes there are no alternatives, if you stick the positive cable on the negative terminal and stick the negative  cable on the positive terminal at the same time, shit will blow up in your face.

You fucking asked for it, you got it.
They don't pass out safety glasses at the voting booths.

My personal inclination is to back unions and every day folks. After all, I grew up in a union household and have walked more than a few picket lines with personal threats against myself.
I am just pointing out you have some extremely stupid fucking neighbors of yours who are just now getting a dose of reality that doesn't give Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh screaming their lies  any credibility, after all, they are union members themselves, fucking cocksuckers.

Hail Ronnie Reagan!
Motherfucker was a union  president and started the killing of unions with the Air Traffic Controllers.

When the police are behind the protesters, you have lost the game.

The war is over, most folks didn't even know there was one coming, let alone it has been raging,  more fucking idiots, it has been being waged for fifty fucking two hundred and fucking fifty years.

Oh, but the skirmishes still rage.

If you have one ounce of anger at what the fuck is going on in Wisconsin, support your local unions and support those hundred thousand and more protesters who are standing in the fucking freezing weather and those who are willing to go to jail while staying inside the capitol that the governor wants to be evacuated by the same police who are union members who said they won't do and actually slept inside in defiance of his orders.

Like someone complained earlier, it is starting to smell funky in there, the Capitol building, some folks have been in there for days now.

Someone else replied, that funky smell is the smell of Democracy.

Right fucking on.

Update ,

My comment to a comment,

Collective bargaining is exactly what it says it is, the many against a few.

People like me and you, joining together to strive together to make sure we can get a fair wage for a days work, have some sort of rules so we don't have to work in an environment full of poisons, have set hours that aren't subject to the whims of tyrannical employers and can contribute somewhat to a system that will guarantee a bit of security of self sustainability in the years after they can no longer work like a mule.
Public or private, that is all anyone in a union is asking for

  1. While I believe that unions have their place in the private sector, those that work government jobs have forgotten that they are public servants.

It has become a goal to get the cushy government job so you're set for life.

If you work for the DMV like it or not you work for me and you should get paid what I'm willing to offer you. If not get the hell out and I'll find someone that will.

  2. In terms of workers rights and collective bargaining there is no difference between civil and private . . . you mislead and mischaracterize the civil side of life.

Not to mention, you demean fellow humans and workers . . .

Busted, I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that the reason why air traffic controllers were fired was because they walked away OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL, wanting more money. After they were warned if they didn't show back up by a certain day, they would be terminated. They took the risk - and they got canned.

Screw 'em - they made their bed, now lay in it. You have to take the consequences when you put your neck on the line. Imo, Reagan made the right call there, controllers were attempting to take hostages with OUR safety.

  5. Unions or unionization is generally a response for at least a perceived issue. Back in the 70's I helped create a union for just that, to resolve an unfair advantage taken by management. It wasn't adversarial and both sides worked to resolve the issue. One could argue that a union wasn't required but without the workers being as organized as management, they have no voice...or at least a very weak one!

  6. Unions suck! they served their purpose and now they are nothing but communism. You can't fire the individual for being a shithead and he was hired in 1 day before you so he's your senior. too much power. Never had to have a mob to get me a job a raise better conditions or anything. that's what unions are, MOB rule. time after time, non union companies produce more quicker and better than a doped up drunk union man that is making the union boss rich

  7. There is no union in the hospital where I worked (Burn Unit). I got written up for taking 2 of the 6 sick days that I had accrued (Bronchitis). I literally coughed until I wet my pants and threw up. My doctore said not to go to work & her wrote that on a prescription pad. Hospital Policy: Doctor's notes/excuses were accepted on Unit Managers desecration. Mine was not accepted so I got written up. My unit Manager changed my works hours well. My Unit Manager could & did 'down staff' me without pay anytime unit census was down.
Workers in America have steadily lost rights every year since 1981.
