That Sound You Hear

Is the collective Right wing shitting all over itself.
In a sentencing briefing for Scooter Libby, our man Fitzgerald slaps Victoria Toensig right in the kisser and says for all eternity, Valerie Wilson was a covert CIA operative covered under the IIPA guidelines.
Fuck you Vickie. Facts get in the way much?
Her husband Gernstein needs to grow a set of balls and publicly apologize also.
The list from there goes on exponentially.
Sounds to me, IANAL, that Treason has been committed. As I have no doubt said a thousand times.
This is what the Libby trial was all about in the first place.
Fitz was investigating treason for the betrayal of Valerie Wilsons undercover status by no less than four administration members to the press.
Scooter lied his ass off and obstructed Fitzpatricks investigation to cover his bosses involvement in the leak.
Thats right, Cheney.
Whoo Boy, do I ever want to see this investigated until the cows come home.
Ol Scooters ass must be clinched tight, his sentencing is coming up on June 5th, I believe, and Fitz wants the book thrown at him.
Stay tuned, the wingers are all conference calling as I type, trying to come up with some new talking points and smears.
Facts need not apply.

Memorial Day

Another Memorial Day is here. So many folks here are thinking of love ones lost or forever changed because of war.
As we struggle to contain a runaway Presidency and try to end the madness started six years ago,it would be a time to also think about the families here at home.
Many military families are hurting financially, the main breadwinner not being at home.
Perhaps there is someone you know who could use a helping hand, maybe just babysitting the kids for a couple hours to give someone a break.
Christy over at FireDogLake has some more thoughts on this and she says it so much better than I.Drop by and see what she has .

I Wouldn't Trust Him to Run A Lemonade Stand in Hell

In a never ending end run around the Constitutional duties of the President, Stupie McFuckwit now declares he can run the whole show, everyone else can drink margaritas.
A tip of the hat to Crooks and Liars for the link.

Bush Anoints Himself as the Insurer of Constitutional Government in Emergency
By Matthew Rothschild

May 18, 2007

With scarcely a mention in the mainstream media, President Bush has ordered up a plan for responding to a catastrophic attack.

In a new National Security Presidential Directive, Bush lays out his plans for dealing with a “catastrophic emergency.”

Under that plan, he entrusts himself with leading the entire federal government, not just the Executive Branch. And he gives himself the responsibility “for ensuring constitutional government.”

He laid this all out in a document entitled “National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51” and “Homeland Security Presidential Directive/HSPD-20.”

The White House released it on May 9.

Here is the article;

This is the guy who can't figure out how to get out of a room let alone run anything like, say, a FUCKING GOVERNMENT!
Jesus Christ! Where does the moron think he can just decide to hell with the Constitution?
Wait, wait, I remember, he's the Decider guy.
Jeez, I feel safer already. NOT!
Meanwhile, he is currently down at the never ending jungle of PigFuckTopia, further looking to destroy any remaining relations we do have with foreign governments. Posing with the current head of the U.N., calling for more help from NATO in his cranked out dreams of fighting the terrists in Afghanistan.
I feel like I am in a never ending nightmare, feverishly waking for a mere second, only to recede back into the darkest, most twisted, visions of murderous clowns telling me that never mind what came before, it's only gonna get better, baby.
Who can keep up with this bunch?
While we are fighting scandal fatigue, (179 and counting) finding out what little pranks they have already pulled, they are out in front with completely new, outrageous shit.
2008 can't get here soon enough.

A certain Mr. Thomas Sowell has an article up at The National Review that starts out with this line;

"That people on the political Left have a certain set of opinions, just as people do in other parts of the ideological spectrum, is not surprising. What is surprising, however, is how often the opinions of those on the left are accompanied by hostility and even hatred."

I couldn't possibly know why? Or could I ?
But wait! There is more, MUCH more;

"Particular issues can arouse passions here and there for anyone with any political views. But, for many on the left, indignation is not a sometime thing. It is a way of life."

Oh, this is going to be good.

"How often have you seen conservatives or libertarians take to the streets, shouting angry slogans? How often have conservative students on campus shouted down a visiting speaker or rioted to prevent the visitor from speaking at all?

The source of the anger of liberals, “progressives,” or radicals is by no means readily apparent. The targets of their anger have included people who are non-confrontational or even genial, such as Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.

It is hard to think of a time when Karl Rove or Dick Cheney has even raised his voice, but they are hated like the devil incarnate.

There doesn’t even have to be any identifiable individual to arouse the ire of the Left. “Tax cuts for the rich” is more than a political slogan. It is incitement to anger."

Thats enough. Before I blow a gasket and throw a rod, I am going to think about why I AM so fucking angry, and why I DO hate these people like the devil incarnate.

This should take about three fucking seconds,BRB.

OK, this is going to take longer than I expected but believe me, it will be worth it.

Well now, without getting into reasons like, say, the Swiftboat vets, or The Mighty Wurlitzer that screams its lies 24/7,Just go take a look at this handy dandy little list that a nice fellow named Hugh made for us.Hugh is a very smart guy and this list should be spread far and wide across this land in bold type.

Go ahead and read it all the way through and you might begin to understand why we are so rightfully pissed off.

One Hundred Seventy four reasons to be a pissed off Left Winger,

After that Mr. Sowell, pull your head out of your ass.

Onwards Christian Soldier

The Reverend Jerry Falwell passed on to his final reward today.
I will leave it to a Higher Power to decide what that might entail.
Out of respect for his grieving family, I will with hold most of my thoughts about the man, for now.
I will say that I will not miss the hate filled rhetoric that regularly spewed out of his mouth.

Round Two

Abu strikes again.
I an swamped at work for a while and missed most of the lying fuckers testimony.
The old 'I don't recall' meme got another work out though.
That shit makes me wonder just how long Conyers is going to put up with it.
Of course, the ever helpful Republican Senators went wayyy out of their way to help the lying sack of weasel shit. They went off topic at every chance, intellectual property concerns, immigration concerns, Rove set 'em up and they ran with it. What I did catch was nauseating.
And to top it off, Cspan had the hiccups all damn day.
There is some good news though, Murray Wass ( God Bless him) came out with a report that says the DOJ is holding back emails that show Rover was involved and would also show clearly that Abu is lying out his ass.
I am waiting for that bomb to drop.

Abu the magnificent

That wacky Attorney General we have, Alberto Gonzolas is a never ending source of embarassment to this blogger.
The man gave an amazing display of ignorance in front of the investigative committee last week, claiming faulty memory at least sixty times.
At least two Senators called for his resignation on the spot. More calls for his departure followed soon after.
He is expected to return on May 10th and I am not holding my breath for any sudden improvement in his mental acuity.
I have read a few places that are saying that Bush will not let him go for a couple of reasons. One being that any replacement would have to go through confirmation hearings that would open the administration to legal liability.
Another reason being floated is that Bush owes Abu for saving his ass a couple of times in the past.
Neither of these really bother me. The fact that he hasn't been upfront with all of the hijinks that have gone on under his watch does. This guy, in my opinion, should be on trial for subverting the Constitution of the United States and for the politically motivated firings of 8 U.S. Attorney's, just for a start. His interpretation saying that Habeus Corpus is not inherently granted under the Constitution is one of the most dangerous things to have been done to erase our civil rights in the history of this country. That alone should be enough to impeach the fascist bastard all by itself.
Here is to the hope that Senators Waxman and Conyers can get the sonofabitch to trip up and incriminate himself so we can start the Bush regime on the long road to being bad history.
